Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress best known for her performances in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her professional career in showbiz early. She played lead roles in dramas on television as young as 16 years old. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film), was critically and critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning actress. Over the years Alexandra was involved in numerous noteworthy national and international projects. These projects included British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she was a member of the jury for the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
